I started running again today. It's been a week-and-a-half. I feel much better. Last week I was just blah. pms.

Since this is a health blog I wanted to tell you about two books I found that really have helped us. One is SuperFoods RX diet. Don's sister told me about it. Basically it is just about eating foods that are super nutritious and forming your diet around them. I love it. I have lost weight with actually feeling like I am on a diet and I just feel so much more energetic. I brought it to show you on Sunday but forgot to. The other one I like--which is great for us when we have to eat out so much on Red Cross assignments is called EAT THIS, NOT THAT. It basically goes over all the chain restaurants and what is heathiest and least fattening to order from their menu. It also goes over brand names of some of the best prepared or canned/frozen foods to buy in the grocery store.
